Martin Cullen

Director
I particularly enjoy the challenge of facilitating crowds in non-event spaces. Some of the best events take place in venues that are not actually designed to accommodate crowds. As Event & Crowd Safety specialists, we take on that challenge and work with our clients to make their events happen. I get great satisfaction out of the end result.

Conor O'Cleirigh

Project Assistant / Trainee Safety Officer
I am developing my career in Event Safety, having worked as Health & Safety Assistant at a range of large-scale festivals in Ireland over the past few years. I have also spent time as a Production Assistant on festivals. I have a major passion for music, which has seen me working as a DJ, organising and promoting night-time events since I was a teenager.

Ellen Whelan

Project / Operations Assistant
Having worked on various events throughout both my professional career and through college, I can safely say that there is no better job in the world. I am hugely passionate about getting involved in all areas of the event industry whether it be safety, logistical or being operations-focused to grow my skills and knowledge. I've worked on events for some of the biggest sporting associations in Ireland as well as agencies all over the world. I enjoy making connections, getting stuck in and working on strategies to make things go that little bit more smoothly onsite.

Mark Breen

Director
I'm passionate about helping to raise the general level of safety at events through training, knowledge-sharing and development of resources. I enjoy being operational on large-scale, challenging events while also revelling in the creation and development of systems, procedures, documentation and more to improve how we plan and manage events.

Dessie Brosnan

Project Manager
I've worked in a Production role for many years on some of Ireland's largest festivals and have my own recording studio too. I regularly work in Safety Officer and Site Manager roles these days and have been Project Manager on a number of Safe Events client projects, including international ones. I enjoy getting stuck in and solving issues on site, be they safety or production-related.

Shane O'Brien

Head of Operations - Middle East
Throughout my professional career I have had the opportunity and good fortune to be in a position where I can assist and help to protect others. My ability to assess risk and opportunity and develop strategic recommendations is a skill that was learned in my time at the U.S. Department of State and Bank of America Global Security, with stakeholders and security professionals around the world. I have leveraged that skill, along with the judgment to understand the context for and ramifications of recommendations and actions, in regard to the safety and wellbeing of others.
