We won a GOLD award for our #eventsafetymadesimpler videos in the Best Miscellaneous Multimedia category, which were released in late 2018 and are being translated into several languages on foot of requests from around the world. They've proven quite effective and useful to people, which is great.
We won SILVER in the Best Event / Organisation E-Newsletter category for our mailers.
Being honest, we don't get to do these as regularly as we'd like, due to operational commitments in recent months. That being the case, it's great to be recognised for them.
We also won SILVER in the 'Best Emergency Preparedness and Risk Management Plan for an Event' category for our work on the Wild Lights events in Dublin Zoo.
We have previously won a BRONZE and a GOLD for our Risk Management / Emergency work on several events.
Speaking about the recent award wins, Martin Cullen, Safe Events Director said:
We are very happy with this year's award wins. It's particularly gratifying to win awards for our explainer videos, which we created on foot of capacities being the thing we are approached to consult on most often. We felt a simple set of videos would be helpful, and so they are it seems. Our ongoing work with Dublin Zoo to enhance how we plan and mange the Wild Lights show with them has resulted in a SILVER award this year, after achieving a BRONZE award in the same category last year also. That's great as it reflects development and improvement year-on-year.
Wild Lights has won numerous awards in its short life to date, including winning 2 major awards at the Event Industry Awards in 2018 also.
Award wins are not everything but they're a nice something and it's always nice to be recognised for exactly what we do.
