We have been working with Zoe, Lynda and their team in the National Dairy Council for many years now. The largest project we work with them on each year is their presence at the National Ploughing Championships every September. The NDC occupy one of the largest footprints at the Championships and we work with them from concept and design phase through to delivery on site.
During the design phase we work with the design team to identify and avoid anything that might give rise to unsafe or less-than-ideal situations on site. The positioning of features, the effect of their positioning on the crowd flow, safe entry and exit, sufficient fire precautions and more are all things we consult on at this stage.
Once the design has been finalised, we are on site during the build, again to ensure all is safe and that no issues have arisen due to the nature of the site itself. There are often issue related purely to the outdoor nature of the event, with weather and ground conditions often meaning amendments need to be made on site.
We then provide a team of 6-8 people each year to work on site during the 3 days of the Championships, primarily ensuring a safe crowd flow is maintained through the NDC space. Having worked with them and their exhibition specialists to design a space we believe can work well, we tend to encounter fewer flow issues on site that we might otherwise have.
We enjoy working with Lynda and Zoe and all the team in the NDC. They understand their duty of care to the public and the importance of ensuring it is met and surpassed.
Working with the National Dairy Council to ensure both the ultimate impact of their presence at the Ploughing Championships as well as the safe management of the space and the staff & public therein.
Over the years of working with the National Dairy Council on these projects, we’ve developed a superb understanding of their needs and KPIs for what they do at the Ploughing. We work very closely with them to make sure it is a success year on year.VIEW
Each year has its challenges and changes, but each year we dovetail beautifully with the National Dairy Council team to deliver a quality Ploughing experience for hundreds of thousands of people. That's the bottom line for us and the NDC.VIEW

We consult on the design and all arrangements with relation to the space and build from the outset. We bring all our collective Team experience of crowds, spaces and how people use spaces to bear on optimising the design of the NDC space to ensure it is safe and, importantly, that it does what they need from a brand and exposure perspective.
While we're primarily there to ensure everything is safe, we do more than that and consider ourselves an extension of the NDC team and as ambassadors for the brand while on site working with them.

We are brought back year on year to work with the National Dairy Council on this event, which we believe is testament to the service we provide & relationship we’ve developed with Lynda and co.
The design of the space and a range of variables change every year but what remains constant is the enjoyment both we and the National Dairy Council staff get out of working on this project.
This project illustrates beautifully how we approach things from a brand / client perspective as much as from a Crowd & Event Safety perspective to ensure the deliverable as a whole works for the client.
We're not typical safety people.
Thank you so much for all your hard work & support at the Ploughing Championships.
You constantly look to help out on all matters and make things really straightforward for the NDC.
